Dashboard Modules Breakdown:
1. Header Module (modules/header.php)
- Purpose: Main title and global controls
- Contains:
- Dashboard title “Power Monitoring Dashboard”
- Subtitle “Real-time energy consumption analysis”
- “Full Refresh” button (resets everything to defaults)
2. Smart Filter Module (in index.php)
- Purpose: Controls data display and time range
- Contains:
- Display Option Dropdown: Hourly/Daily/Weekly/Monthly/Yearly
- Dynamic Reference Selector: Changes based on display option
- Load Data Button: Applies current filter settings
- Filter Description: Explains what each option shows
3. Current Stats Module (modules/current_stats.php)
- Purpose: Real-time snapshot of current power metrics
- Contains 6 data cards:
- Voltage (V) - Current electrical potential
- Current (A) - Electrical current flow
- Power (W) - Instantaneous power consumption
- Energy Used (kWh) - Total energy consumed (adjusted for base energy)
- Frequency (Hz) - AC power frequency
- Power Factor (%) - Efficiency of power usage
4. Power Consumption Chart Module (modules/power_chart.php)
- Purpose: Visualize power usage over time
- Features:
- Line chart showing power (W) over selected time period
- Responsive design with hover details
- Updates based on selected display option
5. Energy Consumption Chart Module (modules/energy_chart.php)
- Purpose: Visualize cumulative energy consumption
- Features:
- Line chart showing energy used (kWh) over time
- Shows the actual energy consumed (adjusted for PZEM004T's starting value)
- Complementary to the power chart
6. Summary Tabs Module (modules/summary_tabs.php)
- Purpose: Detailed breakdown of energy usage patterns
- Contains two tabs:
- Daily Summary Tab: Table showing energy usage by day
- Hourly Summary Tab: Table showing energy usage by hour
- Each table shows:
- Date/Hour
- Energy Used (kWh)
- Average Power (W)
- Peak Power (W)
7. Summary Stats Module (modules/summary_stats.php)
- Purpose: Overview statistics for the selected period
- Contains key metrics:
- Total Energy Used
- Average Power
- Peak Power
- Average Voltage
- Average Current
- Average Frequency
- Average Power Factor
